Description: Human FcRn also known as
Neonatal Fc receptor is a heterodimer of
FCGRT (Fc Fragment of IgG Receptor and
Transporter) and B2M (beta 2 microglobulin),
GenBank Accession numbers
NM_001136019 and NM_004048; a.a. 24-
297 and a.a. 1-119 respectively. FCGRT
has a C-terminal His-Avi-tag. This protein
is enzymatically biotinylated using
AviTagTM technology. These proteins are
co-expressed in a HEK293 expression
system. MW = 48 kDa
Formulation: 40 mM MES pH 5.0, 120 mM NaCL and 20% glycerol.
Storage / Stability: At least 6 months at –80°C. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles. Storing diluted enzyme is not recommended, if necessary use carrier protein (BSA 0.1 – 0.5%).
Application(s): Useful as a positive control for western blot analysis
