Human DRAK2, also known as DAP kinase-related apoptosis-inducing protein kinase 2 or death-associated protein kinase-related 2 (GenBank Accession No. NM_004226.3), a.a. 2-372 (end), MW = 43 kDa, expressed in a baculovirus-infected Sf9 cell expression system.

Assay was done in Kinase buffer containing 1 mM DTT using MRCL3 peptide substrate (0.2 mg/ml) and 20 μM ATP. Reaction was done at 30°C for 50 min. Amount of ATP transferred was calculated using Kinase-Glo reagent (Promega)

40 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 110 mM NaCl, 2.2 mM KCl, 0.04% Tween-20, 20% glycerol, 1 mM DTT, 1 mM EDTA

At least 6 months at –80°C. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles. Storing diluted enzyme is not recommended. If necessary, use carrier protein (BSA 0.1-0.5%).

Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling.
