This liquid Growth Medium is a complete medium optimized to culture select BPS Bioscience cell lines.

Sterile filtered (0.2 μm) and Mycoplasma-free. Each lot is tested for growth of recombinant cells.

All components are low endotoxin.

BPS Growth Media is formulated through BPS Thaw Media combined with antibiotics for maintenance of selective markers in the stable cell line.

Growth Medium 2G (BPS #79734): Thaw Medium 2 plus 0.5 mg/ml G418 (Life Technologies #11811031) and 2.5 μg/ml Puromycin (InvivoGen #ant-pr).

• Thaw Medium 2 (BPS #60184): RPMI 1640 medium (Thermo Fisher, #A1049101) supplemented with 10% FBS (Thermo Fisher, #26140079), 1% Penicillin/Streptomycin (Hyclone #SV30010.01).

FBS is ISIA-certified and sourced from the United States of America.

Upon receipt, the medium should be stored in the dark at 4°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Do not exceed 37°C. When stored in the dark at 4°C, the product is stable for six months after first thaw.

Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
