poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase 12, poly(ADP-ribosyl)transferase 12, PARP12

One unit of PARP incorporates 100 pmoles of poly(ADP) in 1 minute from NAD into the acid-insoluble form.

Ribosylation reaction is conducted in wells coated with a mixture of histones at room temperature for 1 hour. Assay buffer: 50 mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.0), 5 mM MgCl₂ and 20 µM ZnCl₂ .

40 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 110 mM NaCl, 2.2 mM KCl, 8 mM glutathione, 0.04% Tween-20, and 20% glycerol.

Aqueous buffer solution

>6 months at -80°C.

Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling.
