Background: ALK2, also known as activin receptor-like kinase 2 (ACVRLK2) is a receptor from the TGF-β family of transmembrane serine/threonine kinases that plays an important role in the bone morphogenic protein (BMP) pathway. Mutation of ALK2 is seen to play a role in cancer and fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva (FOP).
Description: The ALK2 Kinase Assay Kit is designed to measure ALK2 kinase activity for screening and profiling applications using ADP-Glo® Kinase Assay as a detection reagent.
