Description: Papaverine is a PDE inhibitor, causing an increase in cellular cAMP levels and alters cellular function. It is an opium alkaloid that is structurally and pharmacologically distinct from opiates. Papaverine is ideal for use as a potent nonselective PDE inhibitor for in vitro and in vivo research purposes.
Purity: ≥97% by HPLC Biological Activity: Papaverine inhibits PDE with an IC50 value of 3.8 µM.
Solubility: Solubility in water is 25 mg/ml.
Format: A white to off-white powder
Storage / Stability: Store at or below –20°C. Solid form is stable at least 12 months from date of receipt, when stored as directed. Do not store aqueous solutions for more than one day.
