Description: AGK2 is a selective, cell-permeable inhibitor of SIRT2. It has minimal effects SIRT1 and SIRT3 at 10-fold higher levels compared to SIRT2. Useful for studing SIRT2 in neurodegeneration and aging, as well as cell cycle progression and tumorigenesis.
Purity: ≥98% by HPLC Biological Activity: AGK2 inhibits SIRT2 with an IC50 value of 3.5 µM.
Solubility: Soluble in DMSO and DMF purged with an inert gas. Solubility is approximately 1
mg/ml in DMSO and approximately 3 mg/ml in DMF.
Format: A crystalline solid.
Storage / Stability: Store at or below –20°C. Solid form is stable at least 12 months from date of receipt, when stored as directed. Do not store aqueous solutions for more than one day.
