This liquid Growth Medium is a complete medium optimized to culture select BPS Bioscience cell lines. Follow the culturing instructions on the designated protocol.

Optimized for Use With: CSF1R / SRE – Reporter HEK293 Recombinant Cell Line (BPS #79380)

Sterile filtered (0.2 μm) and Mycoplasma-free. Each lot is tested for growth of recombinant cells. All components are low endotoxin. FBS is ISIA-certified and sourced from the United States of America.

BPS Growth Media is formulated through BPS Thaw Media combined with antibiotics for maintenance of selective markers in the stable cell line.

• Growth Medium 1M (BPS Bioscience, #79723): Thaw Medium 1, 400 μg/ml of Geneticin (Thermo Fisher, #11811031) and 0.5 μg/ml Puromycin Dihydrochloride (Thermo Fisher, #A1113803).
• Thaw Medium 1 (BPS #60187): MEM medium (Hyclone #SH30024.01) supplemented with 10% FBS (Invitrogen #26140-079), 1% non-essential amino acids (Hyclone #SH30238.01), 1 mM Na pyruvate (Hyclone #SH30239.01), 1% Penicillin/Streptomycin (Hyclone SV30010.01).

Upon receipt, the medium should be stored in the dark at 4C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Do not exceed 37C. When stored in the dark at 4C, the product is stable for six months after first thaw.

Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
