BRD2 is incubated with biotinylated acetyl-histone peptide substrate (BPS #33000) in BRD assay buffer (BPS #33001) in a 10 µl reaction for 1 hour at RT. AlphaLISA^® ® Nickel Chelate acceptor beads (PerkinElmer) are added, followed by Alphascreen^®® Streptavidin-conjugated donor beads (PerkinElmer). After 1 hour minute incubation at RT, Alphacounts are measured.

50 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 138 mM NaCl, 2.7 mM KCl, 0.05% Tween-20, and 10% glycerol

Aqueous buffer solution

>6 months at –80°C.

Useful for the study of bromodomain binding assays, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling.
