Background: The V5 epitope tag is derived from a small epitope (Pk) present on the P and V proteins of the paramyxovirus of simian virus 5 (SV5). The V5 tag is usually used with all 14 a.a. (GKPIPNPLLGLDST), although it has also been used with a shorter 9 amino acid sequence (IPNPLLGLD).
Description: Affinity purified Monoclonal Anti-V5-Tag, clone E10/V4RR, mouse IgG1. Recognizes V5 (GKPIPNPLLGLDST) tagged fusion proteins. Affinity purified from culture supernatant of hybridoma cells. Applications: Western Blot (1:1000-3000), Dot Blot, ELISA (1:5000-10000), Immunocytochemistry (1:500-2000), Immunoprecipitation , Frozen sections (1:500-2000), Paraffin sections. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
