A 50 μl Galactokinase reaction is conducted in a buffer containing 20 mM Tris (pH 7.4), 5 mM MgCl₂, 50 mM NaCl, 50 μM ATP, 1 mM DTT and 1 mM substrate D-Galactose at room temperature for 1h. ATP reduction is detected using Kinase-Glo® Luminescent Kinase Assay Platform.

45 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 124 mM NaCl, 2.4 mM KCl, 10% glycerol, 225 mM imidazole, and 3 mM DTT.

Aqueous buffer solution

Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling.
