Angiopoietin-like 3, (ANGPTL3) activity was confirmed by treating THP-1 cells with 500 ng/ml of angiopoietin-like 3 for 15 min, 30 min, 2 hr, or 4 hr. Phosphorylated-Erk was measured by Western blot and compared to total Erk levels.
