ALK2, Serine/threonine-protein kinase Haspin homolog ALK2

Enzyme reactions include 40 mM Tris pH 7.4, 20 mM MgCl2, 0.1 mg/mL BSA, 10 μM ATP, 0.2 mg/mL casein, 3 mM DTT, and various amounts of ALK2—incubated 45 minutes at 30 °C. Followed by addition of 25 μL of BPS ADP-Glo reagent—incubated 45 minutes at room temperature. Followed by addition of 50 µl of BPS Kinase Detection Reagent—incubated 45 minutes at room temperature. Luminescence was measured.

Formulated in: 40mM Tris-HCl pH8.0, 110mM NaCl, 2.2mM KCl, 8ng/µL Flag peptide, 3mM DTT, and 20% glycerol.

Aqueous buffer solution.

At least 6 months at –80°C.

Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling.
