MFY-01 Airproof Leak Detection Vacuum Water Chamber

Simple to operate leak detection, shows the location of the leak(s) in the package as well as testing the total integrity of the pack. Ideal for the leak testing of packages not containing a trace gas, such as CO₂. Complies with ASTM D3078

The user immerses the test pack(s) inside the water filled test chamber and closes the lid. A vacuum is created inside the chamber to user-preset level. The test vacuum is controlled by a pressure sensor and cuts off automatically when the preset vacuum is reached. The vacuum creates a differential pressure between the inside of the pack and surrounding water. This differential pressure is the driving force forcing gas out of any leak present in the pack. The user then observes the pack(s) for gas bubbles leaking out.
