Dansensor MAP Check 3 Vacuum Online Gas Analyser – Tray Seal/Thermoform

The instrument works in-line by measuring the gas content non-destructively before the sealing in each package cycle.   If the residual oxygen or carbon dioxide for a reason or another should not be within the user-defined levels an alarm will be activated and the packaging machine will stop automatically. The system can also detect incorrect gassing caused by most malfunctions in the die, leach, vacuum pump, etc. e.g. a worn-out seal between the dies or other parameters that affect the gas content of the packs.

An individual test program can be created on the Dansensor MAP Check 3 Vacuum for each product or group of products being packed. The user is able to select the appropriate test program before starting to pack the product. If linked to the Dansensor MAP Mix Provectus, the correct gas mix can automatically be selected together with the gas test program.

The Dansensor MAP Check 3 Vacuum takes a gas sample from the sealing die at the end of each packaging machine cycle, analysis it and displays/reports the average % of gasses in the die.

If the % oxygen or % carbon dioxide are near the limits for that particular product then the operator is alerted. If either are outside of the permitted limits then the packaging machine is automatically stopped.

Optionally, the gas content of the buffer tank can be checked before the first cycle of the packaging machine; hence avoiding the creation of un-necessary packaging waste and rework.

The Dansensor MAP Check 3 Vacuum enables a step change in Quality Assurance to occur – checking every cycle of the packaging machine instead of random  / periodic destructive testing.
