(Click to see larger image) This is a great CCD C-mount Color Firewire Camera (or USB camera - both versions available!) with a surprisingly low price. It has a 1/3 " Sony CCD sensor with high sensitivity (0.15 lux) for low-light applications and a frame rate of up to 30 fps for video when adequate light is present. Progressive scan, up to 1024x768 4.65µm pixels. Software included for image capture on PC with shutter speeds ranging from 1/10,000 to 30 secs and up to 36dB of gain. Attaches to microscopes via a 0.35x C-mount, sold separately. This camera powers itself directly from the computer's Firewire (or USB) port and operates from -5°C to 45°C! This camera is Mac-compatible (it is automatically recognized by all Mac computers with Firewire ports).
